This weekend over 25,000 people will take their mark for the 2012 Pittsburgh Marathon.  But even before taking the first step to earning the coveted title of Runner of Steel, racers can experience the finish line through an animation created by DRG’s 3D Modeling Department. The virtual model displays key components of the Marathon course, allowing race planners to enjoy context they never had before and runners to experience a first-person preview of the course.  The 2012 Pittsburgh Marathon animation showcases the sought after talents and attention to detail of DRG’s 3D Modeling Department, and highlights the universal benefits of 3D models – regardless of industry. 3D models can bring nearly any idea to life in a cost-effective and compelling way, whether it be an animation of a complex litigation issue, a luxury condo development, or a road map for the next Runner of Steel.  Click here to view the animation.
